Is Emsculpt Neo safe for me? I had my CoolSculpting January 2022

Question

CoolSculpting was on abdomen and right handle and seemed didnt work. Hello! So I decided to undergo coolsculpting since I have Diastasis Recti after giving birth with my 2 kids. It really makes me look like I am still pregnant even my youngest is almost 3. I still have few sessions left but the side effects of it were really painful! And I decided to do ultrasound after the procedure because I want to make sure if I have hernia. But they saw a different one a gallbladder polyp measured less than 1 cm. Can I still do emsculpt neo? Should I continue my coolsculpt?

EMSculpt, not CoolSculpting, will help your abdominal muscles. I would not waste money on more CoolSculpting treatments since they did not help initially. For excess fat, liposuction works much better. You can still have EMSculpt with a polyp.

Based on what you describe it sounds like you need a full tummy tuck. If you are done having children and that is the correct procedure. To get an accurate quality assessment and better understanding of treatment options that work I suggest having multiple in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons.

Cool sculpting has the lowest effectiveness and lowest patient satisfaction of any body contouring procedure. I have met more people who developed idiopathic fat growth from this treatment than I have patients who thought they got good results.  When cool sculpting actually works it tends to leave what looks like cell phone imprints from the defined suction devices.

Emsculpt Neo is a temporary muscle strengthening treatment.

It is a temporary treatment that is ideal for individuals who have tight skin and very thin layers of subcutaneous fat.

There are no non-surgical options that are going to correct pregnancy related abdominal changes.

Weight loss and exercise are probably far more effective than the treatments you’ve described.
