I had 5 Emsculpt treatments done over a year ago. I was 20 lbs heavier (post partum) so I am not sure if it helped that much. I know I am a candidate for tummy tuck, but need to wait until my youngest is a little older. Would I benefit from a few more sessions? If so, weekly? I have carried weight in this part of my body my whole life due to genetics and poor lifestyle choices.

Answer: Emsculpt This device causes temporary muscle strengthening. I doubt you’ll see much change having skin laxity and subcutaneous fat covering your abdominal muscles. If you have money to burn and time on your hands you can always try it but it is a temporary treatment that primarily gives muscle bulk. If you want to reduce your midsection you could consider liposuction. If you’re open for a tummy tuck then perhaps simply waiting until the time is right and doing that procedure is the way to go. Delivering consistent quality liposuction results is more difficult than most people believe so it is imperative patients find the most talented and experienced providers to minimize the chance of having undesirable outcomes.
