Typically facial plastic surgeons, dermatologists and certain general plastic surgeons who perform a lot of facial procedures are qualified for the services you ask about. Facial plastic surgeons spend 6 years training on all facial procedures. This includes cosmetic, reconstructive, and trauma surgeries. We also are experts in the facial nerve. Facial plastic surgeons do not operate on the hand or the body as general plastic surgeons do.
