Looking for a plastic surgeon that only deals with face and fillers, also does reconstruction surgeries. Please let me know who specializing in that area. Thank"s.

The general plastic surgeons scream the loudest and the longest that only they should do everything, just as they are the experts in everything. But the truth is that that the facial plastic surgeons and the oculoplastic facial surgeons, in general, have FAR more experience in the things you are seeking, generally speaking.

Typically facial plastic surgeons, dermatologists and certain general plastic surgeons who perform a lot of facial procedures are qualified for the services you ask about. Facial plastic surgeons spend 6 years training on all facial procedures. This includes cosmetic, reconstructive, and trauma surgeries. We also are experts in the facial nerve. Facial plastic surgeons do not operate on the hand or the body as general plastic surgeons do. In general, a facial plastic surgeon specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face and most likely fillers as well. There would also be some general plastic surgeons that would perform cosmetic surgery on the face as well as possibly doing fillers. It is possible that some facial plastic surgeons and general plastic surgeons would not perform filler treatments however, so you should check first. Depending on the type of facial reconstruction surgery, there may be some facial plastic surgeons and general plastic surgeons that perform those as well.
