It is important to take a detailed history in any patient desiring laser hair removal. We usually do not do any radiofrequency treatments on anyone with a pacemaker. Laser hair removal with the Gentleax Pro would be possible but not close to where the pacemaker or any other device or metal would be in the body. We would not want the device to heat up or malfunction in any way, which could be life threatening. It would also be important for you to tell your doctor or treatment provider any and all medications or supplements etc that you are on to make sure that your are not on any with heat sensitive side effects. Several cardiac meds fall into this category. If you are on any of these, your skin may burn or otherwise react poorly to the treatment.
