And will the sensitivity go away? I had 325cc silicone submuscular implants for about 1.5 years. I got capsular contracture. 10 months ago, I had an explant with as much removal of the capsule as possible this included scraping my ribs. Part of my breast tissue was removed. My body was also not reabsorbing a hematoma from a car wreck we were in but it was rather collecting around the capsule. Side note: I don't have much fat in my stomach for grafting, as my Dr said that's where he would take it from...

Thank you for your pictures and questions. Sorry to hear about your current concerns. Although it is hard to tell without an exam, it appears that the tissue from the breast or skin has adhered to the chest wall and caused a scar adherence. This might be helped with conservative measures, but may also likely require surgical revision. At ten months post op you will not likely notice much change going forward.  You can opt for surgical revision, including releasing the scar tissue and fat transfer.  You could also consider a small implant if fat transfer is not an option.  I encourage you to meet with your board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.

At this point, there are unlikely to be any significant changes going forward. You will likely need surgical revision to correct any lingering issues. Scar release and fat transfer may be helpful.As always, discuss your concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS)
