Can I use minoxidil for facial hair growth with bicuspid aortic?

Hello! I just got minoxidil usp 5% for facial hair growth. I was doing some research and found that using minoxidil can cause a rapid heart beat, chest pains, and that it can be used for high blood pressure. So I was wondering if it would be safe to use this product for topical use with bicuspid aortic?

I would advise asking your cardiologist. It depends on your current health, cardiovascular status. Patients with any sign of heart failure or altered cardiac output or stenosis are often advised not to use minoxidil. Otherwise it is generally fine. Speak to your cardiologist.
