I don't like the protruding look of my mouth and my profile. I always thought it was because of my teeth. Do I have dental biprotrusion or recessed chin ? Do I need extractions/braces or a genioplasty ? About a genioplasty, I am concerned, bc I have a pretty wide and long chin, and as a 20yo female, I want a small, pointy, projected chin. I am worried about the round u-shape of my chin, I wonder if I should get a T-osteotomy/V-line or just bone shaving. What is better to avoid skin sagging ?

It appears that you have both a recessed chin and a somewhat short chin. The depth of the mentolabial fold increases when the chin is short. A genioplasty to both lengthen the chin and move it forward would improve your  overall facial balance. Unlike other procedures, the purpose of the genioplasty is to  balance the face and therefore and provide a youthful jawline.

You do have a short chin that is round as most short chins are. From a bony standpoint a t-shaped genioplasty is needed to being it forward and narrow it. Another option is the v-shaped anatomic chin implant if one prefers a non-bone moving approach.
