Thank you for asking this question! Since I haven’t consulted with you in-person, I can’t say what cosmetic product or procedure is best for you. However, if you are serious about getting an augmentation procedure, you should consult with your doctor about what filler is right for you. That being said, Bellafill is one of many dermal fillers that can be used to achieve your desired look. Bellafill, as well as being excellent for contouring your cheeks, chin, and jawline, it also stimulates the production of collagen. This combination of contouring and stimulating results in skin that’s firmer and smoother. All the best in health and beauty! Don’t forget to consult with your physician to know which product is right for you.
Dear patient,Bellafil is FDA approved for augmentation of naso-labial folds and for the treatment of acne scars. I have used it (as an off label indication) for sculpting jawline and cheeks. As you may know Bellafil is made of Cow Collagen and millions of small plastic Spheres that gradually promote the growth of autologous Collagen. Depending on the shape of the face this filler can be used to sharpen the jawline. Bellafil is not a great option If you have a very round face or heavy neck. In this case other modalities to tighten or lift the skin are more appropriate. You need to look for a Dermatologist with a good sense of symmetry. Bring your own photos from 5 or 10 years ago to the consultation. It is always helpful to see the original shape of the youthful face. I hope this was helpful. Yours Dr R.
Bellafill and Artefill are known to cause granulomas. Although used for soft tissue augmentation, they can, and are known to cause permanent nodules and swelling. This is not the case for everyone. My office specializes in the removal of Bellafill and Artefill injections, in addition to silicone biopolymers, from the face and body. Initially, treatments are non-surgical with corticosteroids and immune modulators. If unable to be corrected, we can also perform surgery in some cases. Lastly, our office is conducting ongoing studies of plasma-assisted corticosteroid application, which allows for diffusion of the treatment medication in superficial tissue without causing atrophy. Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Bellafill can be used with excellent cosmetic results to do the above.Due to its (minimally) 5 year duration it should be done by an M.D. with substantial experience in its use.
Bellafill can be used to augment the cheeks and the jawline and chin. An examination of you would be needed to determine if you might be a good candidate for treatment with Bellafill or not.
Thank you for your question. Bellafill is an excellent chance to enhance the jaw line and cheeks bones. To determine if you are a good candidate to achieve a slimmer and defined jaw line I recommend obtaining a consultation with an experienced Bellafill injector. Due to the long lasting nature of this dermal filler it is important that you feel comfortable with the experience and results of your injector.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
Bellafill is a great choice for these areas. In fact, I have had it done to my face. I use cannulas for this to minimize downtime and risks. It should give a permanent result that requires touch ups as you age. I presented my series of jawline Bellafill at the recent ASAPS meeting in New Orleans at the Hot Topics discussion.

"Acne scars need a combination approach for long-term improvement. Everyone has a unique pattern of acne scarring, and most people have various types of scars, so we create a tailored treatment plan for each patient. Generally speaking, we often use: - Injectable fillers like Bellafill and...
It is hard to say exactly what this is. Even if this is Bellafill, this isn't necessarily the end result. Remember that Bellafill is mostly collagen and this is degraded by the body. It takes 6-8 weeks for the body to remove the collagen and 3-4 months to create a collagen response to the PMMA....
