Dear Bee, Deep resurfacing with C02 can have issues with longer healing. I prefer using a Dual Pulsed Erbium laser for deep resurfacing. This has less issues with deep heat damage than with CO2.The advantage of full face resurfacing is that it can help remove past sun damage and pre cancerous skin cells as well.I'll include a link below.I hope this was helpful.

Fully ablative CO2 laser is older technology which us not as readily available now. Many offices have upgraded to Fractional laser technology. If you wanted someone with experience, you would be seeking a doctor who was in practice at the time. If you are seeking fully ablative results, you might want to seek a doctor who is familiar with J plasma. It’s best to be seen for a personal consultation.
The Lutronic CO2 is gentler than traditional CO2 lasers but still requires 2-3 weeks downtime depending on settings used. I would allow the skin to heal and rest before attempting any at home micro needling treatments and topicals.
