Thank you for your question. A side effect of Accutane is dryness of the skin and mucous membranes. In general, I recommend to all my patients to use mild and gentle facial cleansers and moisturizers. Epimax cream has an ingredient called urea which is meant to exfoliate and can cause irritation if used while taking Accutane.
