My face is red and there is pus after CO2 laser. Is this normal?

I have done co2 laser two days ago. now, my face is reddish and there is a small puddle of pus. is it normal? doc gave me ointments for my sap 3 times a day.

ALL laser treatments should have the skin pretreated to prevent hyper pigmentation.  This is why the hydroquinone would be used and I suggest you see your physician if this wasn't explained properly.  Best, Dr. Emer.
