Is it beneficial to use minoxidil without finasteride?

I am currently on 10% Minoxidil and multivitamin tabs with saw Palmetto and biotin. Done 3 montha. The hair on the top of my head has little to no improvement but my body hair seems to be getting denser.

You have not stated what type of hair loss you have been diagnosed with so it is somewhat difficult to comment fully. However, if the diagnosis is androgenetic alopecia (AGA), all the treatments can be used as monotherapy. Generally speaking most of the treatments for AGA are additive meaning potential benefits are increased when one combines treatments.

If you are a male, finasteride is far more effective in treating and slowing down the hair loss than minxoidil. They can be used in combination
