Is it beneficial to use minoxidil without finasteride?

I am currently on 10% Minoxidil and multivitamin tabs with saw Palmetto and biotin. Done 3 montha. The hair on the top of my head has little to no improvement but my body hair seems to be getting denser.

Why is doxycycline often prescribed over other similar class antibiotics to treat hair loss from LPP?

In my opinion, the advantage of using doxycycline is that it has been proven to work in a sub antimicrobial dose as an anti-inflammatory agent. We usually prescribe 20 mg either twice a day or once a day. This is a generic equivalent of a dermatologic drug used to treat rosacea called Oracea.
