Will I loose my hair at a faster rate once I stop Minoxidil?

Question

I know that if i stop minoxidil,the hair that was grown because of minoxil will be lost. My query is that ,the natural hair which i had before applying minoxidil ,which was under the attack of DHT,wheather i will loose those hair at a faster rate if i stop minoxidil,since minoxidil was applied to those hairs also. And also will hair will loose at a faster rate if minoxidil is stopped

You won't necessarily lose at a faster rate, but you will lose your results and it will go back to the pattern of loss. I suggest seeing a hair loss expert now to evaluate and go over your condition and provide you information about your best treatment options. First of all congratulations for trying something, doing nothing definitely does not work.
Secondly, remember that Minoxidil is a mild general PGE agonist.  So while will cause hair to grow some, it will not Stop hair loss.  So it only slows down the hair loss process.  There are now newer and better hair growth stimulants available.  What this means is that you are still losing permanently every day, just not as many as if you were doing nothing.  But more than if you were using a more effective treatment.
To answer your question regarding what happens when you stop using Minoxidil - You are basically restarting your hair loss from your current position and will again start losing around 10 hairs per day permanently.  While on Minoxidil you may have been losing less, for example 7-8.
The good news is that there are now more effective treatments available that Minoxidil AND which don't require the harsh alcohol base and preservatives than make Minoxidil so harsh on your scalp.  I recommend seeing a hair regrowth specialist who has a program which can gaurantee your hair growth or your money back.

You hair loss will pick up where it stopped when you discontinue minoxidil.  It will not necessarily at an accelerated rate but it can appear more significant if you have been using the drug for a long time since the shedding is increased.

If you have been on minoxidil for more than 6 months, you run the risk of losing those hairs that are minoxidil dependent.
