I'm due to fly one week after undergoing septoplasty. Would this be a problem?

Typically, flying after one week of recovery from an uneventful septoplasty should not be a problem. However, some  RX support is helpful for nasal decongestion with landing and departure changes in airline cabin pressure. Additionally, many people need to maintain nasal saline throughout the flight to avoid nasal dryness. Please consult with your physician regarding his/her recommendations for travel after surgery.
