I know it may be early days as is gradual improvement so I am told after 7 treatment of fraxel repair I had  previous treatment for  quite deep acne scars to either side of my chin that had not responded or improved from previous full facial Cr02/YAG Ibrium laser over 7 years ago. (lol my abrev  of this treatment may be mis spelt I know it is!!)My full facial laser 7 years ago had little effect and whist my consultant knew that I had had previous chin implant he in my opinion put too many passes through my skin to this area . Indeed when my mother picked me up she said she could almost see the luminous outline of my implant and was so shocked she could not drive me home. I might add this treatment was completed in London Harley street by my dermatologist who had known me for 6 years! I was left with hyper pigmentation to hub of chin and little improvement to scars either side of my chin. His response was improvement will continue and such scars area very difficult to get great result. Shame he was not so honest on that point prior to treatment.Any way fast track on 7 years and an independent Dermatologist suggested fraxel which he said would even out skin tone and improve scars as new collagen grows through. My questions are as below1/ my skin when I was feels very rubbery and skin quite red2/ my skin peels quite a lot when I bathe is this normal I splash my face in bath and skin seems to peel off particularly to chin as my hands rinse face. Is this normal?3/ my skin feels quite tight and sun block even the most lubricated type does not seem to settle into face4/ My skin itches to face and I apply light moisturiser that makes my skin very red and sore5/ my chin has a deep throbbing pain at times and two rather raised bumps have appeared on the hub of my chin is this normal
