When, if ever, will my chin heal following bad implant surgery? (Photo)

After my chin implant surgery of 23rd July 2024, where a medpor implant was used, I got an infection. It caused huge pain, turned my throat into a rock hard bump, and partially paralysed my chin muscle. On 10th September 2024, a new surgeon removed the implant. I am estranged from the first surgeon. But the new surgeon can't say if and when my chin will heal - it's still swollen, still hurts, and still partially paralysed. Can YOU say if & when I will heal?

Answer: I believe you should expect complete healing within 6 months.
One of the problems with chin implants is migration or malposition. I would recommend a CT scan to evaluate the position of the implant. In some cases, the implant needs to be removed or re-positioned.
Based on your photos, you appear to have a bit of a low nasal bridge appearance in the upper 1/3 of your nose. If this is what's bothering you, microdroplet Silikon-1000 nasal injections maybe considered for achieving a straighter and more masculine nasal profile appearance. I hope this helps!...
I’ve not heard of surgical procedures to lengthen the lower lip.
There are procedures to both lengthen and shorten the upper lip, but usually we don’t do these procedures for the lower lip nor are standard surgeries well described.
