I weigh 159, I want to work out but I’ve always had a very big butt but due to problems it went away when I got skinny and since I’m older I want to look like how I would’ve naturally. But my knees are weak and I think adding weight to the sides of the legs and butt could help with stability. Please let me know. And thank you for your time.

Please be aware that if you've had knee pain for long-term - it's a sign that something is wrong and needs attention. It could be something serious or not; but you will need a professional (certified and licensed) physical therapist to determine this. Relocation of your body's fat will not increase knee stability. If there isn't any pain and it's purely weakness that's your concern; please do research on knee stability exercises and stretches, popular/common weak-knee-associated muscle imbalances, and proper/functional body mechanics. Many people live their entire lives with muscle imbalances and this affects their daily lives; simple changes of being more conscious of how you move and use your body can go a very long way. Our daily posture, how we sleep, walk, lift anything, bend, and all other daily movements (or non-movement with sedentary lifestyle) will have a direct affect on our muscles and bone structure. It will take time and effort to gain strength back but it will pay dividends for the rest of your life!
