Can I get a thread lift if I have an autoimmune disorder and or Hashimoto's?

I have an undiagnosed auto-immune disorder. My thyroid tests come back normal with slightly elevated antibodies. A Naturopathic Dr. has diagnosed Hashimoto's. I have had filler in my lips in the past, however the last two times the filler has balled up and settled just outside of my lip line. I've been told that I'm no longer a candidate for fillers. Would the threads differ from fillers? Could I reject them like the filler?

First of all, there are different kind of materials used for thread lifting. Certainly the one that can cause less reaction is the PDO.However, It hasn’t been conducted any study of Hashimoto’s disease or any other autoimmune diseases and PDO thread lifting. This material certainly can react as any other and  autoinmune diseases have been listed as one of the contraindications for PDO threading.  Dr. L.M.
