Usually I use local anesthesia with IV sedation in combination for mini facelifts. But I also never refuse if patient desires light general anesthesia. Doing ONLY local anesthesia much more difficult since overdosing the volume of local anesthesia is a problem. Best to discuss with chosen Plastic Surgeon.
