Using Philips Lumea for IPL hair removal and experienced red/brownish spots and blemishes on my leg, advice? (photo)

The marks are like blemishes, some are slightly raised. These have been on my skin for around 1 month now, I was hoping they would go away. I don't know if they are reactions to the shaving or the ipl itself. How can I reduce them?

These spots can be improved with a combination of lasers, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care. Sun protection is essential. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Eme

IPL is a great treatment for facial rejuvenation. It can also be used for permanent hair reduction. Irritation and hyperpigmentation can be seen around the hair follicles. This will resolve over time. I do not perform laser treatments on skin that is irritated. Instead I wait until the skin calms and then resume treatments. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!
