I got a gingevectomy in order to expose more of my teeth. My teeth were really small in appearance so my dentist raised my gun line. Unfortunately, the tooth that was previously below the gum is more yellow, probably due to whitening before the gumline was raised. Is there a way to even this out? (As for the translucentness on my bottom teeth, they have been that way for as long as I can rememeber) I do not want veneers.

Hi, Mana. With the double jaw surgery, I would anticipate that this will be corrected. But, this is something that you should firmly discuss with your orthodontist, oral surgeon, and general dentist. Good luck and all success to you.
Hi, Lauren. It sounds like the whitening toothpaste is too strong for your mouth. I advise discontinuing this toothpaste and going back to your regular. Often, there are so many chemicals in these toothpastes that they can cause gum sensitivity and even tooth sensitivity. Hope this helps.
