I’m a 52 year old female, 5’2, 120 lbs. with concerns about jowls, marionette lines and the dreaded turkey neck. I’m looking at Morpheus8 or Ultherapy to address these concerns and I’m at a loss as to which would offer me a greater benefit.
Answer: Both treatments can be combined for the most effective results. Tighten and lift to enhance facial features. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Morpheus8 over Ultherapy for Jowls and Turkey Neck I prefer Morpheus8 over Ultherapy to treat your concerns of jowls and "turkey neck". I have both of these devices in my office, and while both will result in improvement, in my hands an aggressive Morpheus8 treatment of the jowls and submentum (underchin) along with Morpheus8 treatment of the neck yields a faster and superior result compared with Ultherapy. The Marionette lines are unlikely to see much improvement with Ultherapy, and will likely see only modest improvement with Morpheus8 of the face. To address the Marrionette lines, consider dermal filler to restore youthful volume to the cheek area, which also improves the jowls and Marrionette lines by lifting, and if stilled needed some filler could be added directly to the Marrionette lines.

Answer: Lower face and neck lift for jowls and neck Minimally invasive treatments are simply not going to accomplish what a surgical lower face lift can accomplish. You have loose and inelastic skin in the neck, platysma muscle cords, and fat deposits located in the neck. A lower face and neck lift accomplishes tightening loose facial and neck skin, tightening loose facial and neck muscles, removal of the fat deposits in your neck with liposuction, lifting the jowls, and performing a platysma plasty to significantly improve your jawline.
