Crooked nose and off centre/tilted septum - what are my options? (Photo)

Crooked nose and difficulty breathing:A nose can be made crooked by a deviated septum, or by asymmetry of the nasal bones . the former is addressed during a septoplasty the latter is addressed during a rhinoplasty. Commonly a rhinoplasty and septoplasty are performed at the same time in order to make a crooked nose straight and address other issues such as a dorsal hump or refinement of the nasal tip. It would take an examination in person to determine what is causing your nose to be crooked

You may have a crooked septum but that is not the only thing contributing to basal asymmetry. All parts of the nose have a role in this, especially the nasal bones and cartilage. So I think you would need a complete rhinoplasty and septoplasty.

Based on the information you have also shared regarding your breathing difficulty, this can be caused by several factors, one of which is the deviation of the septum (which is almost certain when the nasal bridge is deviated).

To improve and address your aesthetic and functional concerns, a Septorhinoplasty procedure is most likely be needed.
