My mild acne is persistent and nothing has helped. I want to start Accutane but I also don't want to explode with acne if I get off of spiro. My question is: Is it safe to take both together? Will Accutane be as effective if I'm on spiro as well? Should I taper off spiro while on Accutane? And when I finish my Accutane treatment, will it diffuse the long term results of accutane when I get off the spiro too? What should I do since I’m already taking spiro and starting accutane soon?
