Very small skin tags can be easily, quickly and very inexpensively treated by the light application of electrocautery following local anesthetic. Larger, more pedunculated (bigger stalks) ones respond well to simple curved scissor removal with light electrocautery of the base of the stalk. This is likewise done using local anesthetic. Dermapen microneedling, which I have been performing for over two decades, would not be a treatment of choice for any kind of true skin tags. Hope this helps. Best of luck.
