What if a Lipoma burst?

i had a lupoma on my hip it really got irritated and become red and sensitive i went to the doctor and he said that my pans might have been too tight and about 2 days after i have seen the doctor it actually burst it looked like wet tissue paper that came out .....but now 2 months down the line i still have a brown hole on my hip that just wont go away .....what do i do now?? it really look nasty .please help me

Lipomas do not 'burst'.  You may have had a cyst and how you're left with a depression in the thigh?  You can let it be or have it excised but that will leave a scar.  What's better?  Scar or the current depression?  Only you can decided

Hi Yolanda. Lipomas are benign fatty tumors. They do not burst. Sounds like what you had was either a sebaceous cyst that ruptured or an abscess that drained itself. I suggest you see a general surgeon for an in-person evaluation to see if any further treatment is needed.
