Clear & Brilliant vs. Picosure Focus for pores and acne scars? (Photos)

I have done two treatments of C+B but did not see any improvements on my pores and acne scars. Im thinking switching to Picosure Focus. I want to know which laser works better for my pores and scars? C+B or Picosure?Thank you very much.

Picosure is great for large pores; however, we have many different technologies available for the treatment of acne scars.

PicoSure is great for both acnes scar and large pores. For acne scar usually you need at lease 2 sessions to see result. For large pores on the face, you might need one or more depending on the size of the pores.

Hi Teresa. Thank you for your picture. I offer PicoSure treatment with custom protocols and can only say that Most if not all my patients see some results after 2 treatments with PicoSure. It is advised to have at least 4, but it varies depending on the severity of the problem.  Picosure Focus is the only laser on the market clinically proven to stimulate collagen + ELASTIN formation, which helps tremendously in decreasing pores and erasing acne scars with virtually no downtime. If you are not sure about your C+B treatment, you can definitely consider trying Pico and see the difference for your self. Firstly we do need good baseline photos as pore size reduction is very hard to tell without before and afters. Secondly you have a tethered and atrophic scar on your left cheek that is too deep for pico- subcision and or filler will easily sort that out. Pico for pores works well, but energy levels are off label- see a dermatologist for this procedure. If you have ethnic skin, using the 6 mm Focus at .71 is the key. All the best, Dr Davin Lim.
