Can i undergo blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty seperately but a few days apart?

Hi, I want to get a revision for my asian blepharoplasty done a few months back. Meantime, however, i would like to get a revision for the rhinoplasty done about 5-6 years back. As they were originally done by different doctors and i only can spare so much downtime, I was thinking of undergoing both procedures but a few days apart. Will undergoing blepharoplasty then rhinoplasty a few days later alter entirely the final look or is it recommended to do both at the same time by the same doc?

This is done fairly commonly.  In a practice like mine which is Primarily Asian facial plastics I do perform Asian eyelid surgery a few days before rhinoplasty fairly often.  The reason for this usually is that I require the surgery for the eyelids be done under local anesthesia and the rhinoplasty can either be under local anesthesia or IV sedation.  When having a procedure done under IV sedation particularly in another facility there is usually additional costs.  If you are getting eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty surgery done in the same facility on the same day sometimes there are increased costs because of the facility time.  For this reason I usually will perform eyelid surgery either the day before or a few days before the rhinoplasty surgery if the patient wants to undergo rhinoplasty with IV sedation or general anesthesia.I would suggest doing the eyes before the nose.  The swelling of the eyes will not affect your surgeons ability to judge the nose nearly as much as swelling of the nose and face will affect your ability to do the eyelid surgery.Best of luckChase Lay, MDAsian eyelid surgery and Asian facial plastics specialist

Having simultaneous procedures is not unheard of. Not every surgeon does both types of surgery. Be sure to have your face evaluated by a board certified facial plastic surgeon with expertise in Asian blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty.
