Most people who have perioral dermatitis have it because of an irritation to fluoride in toothpaste. Try switching to a brand without fluoride like Tom's. If that clears up within a few weeks, then it's probably not acne and is perioral dermatitis. Which means you have to stick with a non-fluoride toothpaste forever.
