I've been prescribed Accutane, does that help with perioral dermatitis? (photos)

One Derm says i have acne and another says i have perioral dermatitis. My acne is all over mostly around mouth and chin. I've been prescribed accutane, does that help with perioral dermatitis (i've read it does) if that is what i have around my mouth/chin? I also have acne on cheeks (deep cystic stuff and enlarged pimples).

Of course you can swim while taking Accutane. That is absolutely fine. Make sure you sunscreen well, and put moisturizer on after, but you should be doing these things anyway. Many people will experience breakouts the first 1-2 months while on Accutane. This happens because the pores underneath...

My patients take low dosages of Accutane for longer periods of time. This cuts down on all the side effects. Some patients have complained about Accutane making them have hairloss; others say their hair has never looked better while they take the medication. Biotin is fine to take if you'd like...

You can't pause for 2-6 months and have the regimen work. Accutane dosing is based on a cumulative dose, which means you take it consistently, not haphazardly. Your body won't have any issues and there is no resistance built up, but basically, by stopping for those months, when you start again...
