Gained weight due to Lupron injections and Prozac - would it be better to get gastric bypass or liposuction?

29 y/o F, 2 years in a chemical menopause, 270lbs, 62 inches, BMI 49. I’ve gained about 80lbs from my Lupron injections and Prozac combination. Would it be better to get gastric bypass or liposuction? Will I continue to gain weight until I receive a hysterectomy?

You are definitely a candidate for a gastric bypass, do not have liposuction, it will not help you at all, your body mass index makes you a candidate for weight loss surgery.

Hello, hope you are well. It seems there are multiple factors affecting your weight gain process. For this reason is it better for you to be evaluated by a certifed bariatric surgeon. However for a BMI 49 you would possibly qualify for a bypass or SADIS procedure.
