Numbness in Armpit 4 weeks post op Breast Augmentation.

I had silicone gel implants under the muscle 4 weeks ago. I had severe bruising (black/purple) that has almost gone away (now looks like a shadow now) but is still really sore. The bruising is right where the bra sits across. Is this normal to have bruising this long? Also, I have numbness/itchy in my right armpit above the incision. The numbness/itchy just started a couple days ago. Is this normal? The incision has closed up nicely and doesn't appear abnormal. Thanks- HC

Thank you for your question. You certainly need to make sure you heal from your first surgery before considering a second. You want to make sure that your OBG/GYN is okay with you having your next surgical procedure. This would typically be 3-6 months.
