Hello, I will have a breast augmentation with Motiva in December. My surgeon suggested me 425 cc Ergonomix demi profile (moderate). The implants will be placed dual plane. I think the size of the implants is the right one for me but I’m not sure if I want Ergonomix or round. The Ergonomix are so natural in the movements and I love it but I’m afraid they wold look too natural on me. I’m 20 years old and 5'1 (155 cm) weight 105.82 lb
Answer: Thank you for your question and photos... You have a petite frame and your fear of looking “too natural” is confusing. Most women do not want it to be obvious or apparent that they have breast implants. They just want beautiful breasts. Your good fortune is that your breasts appear to be both symmetrical, well proportioned and very pretty to start. Style, size, shape, upper pole fullness, a more natural or more artificial appearance are all a matter of personal preference. My best advice to you is to find images of women’s breasts that most closely resemble the appearance you hope to achieve and share those images with your plastic surgeon. The decision regarding which specific size implant would be most suitable for you should be made by your plastic surgeon with your input, of course. The Motiva Ergonomix is an excellent implant, but in skilled and experienced hands, most plastic surgeons can achieve a very beautiful result regardless of the brand of implant used. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Implant size and type Dear jennyb00, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
