Will Finasteride work for me? (Photos)

Question

I'm 20 and i have been losing my hair for the past 7 years. i'm having balding areas.I have asked before if i can undergo a hair transplant and i have been told that i am not a good candidate due to my age. I ask if taking finasteride will help me to , at least, improve the situation a little bit. I am asking if this medicine can improve density and thicken hair, and improve the condition of my hair in general. is it safe as well?i've tried minoxidil and PRP sessions but nothing's worked for me.

In my opinion, finasteride is excellent at decreasing hair loss from the action of DHT. It can prevent hairs from miniaturizing and possibly regrow some hairs. It can increase your hair density. We have tried PRP with finasteride and minoxidil in people with a strong genetic history. We have seen good results especially in younger individuals. It's important to do monthly injections for at least 3 months before going to maintenance. The side effects of PRP can be sexual in a small percentage of individuals. Find a PRP expert. You are correct that hair transplantation is not a great option at 20. The key point here is that you are at high risk for future loss. Topical or oral finasteirde, oral minoxidil or laser (and possibly all three types of treatment) are worth reviewing with your physician.

At 20 yers old, finasteride is worth a try; however, this pattern already existing at your age may preduct a permanent pattern. Although I would rrecommend that you try this and possibly oral minoxidil as well, the reversal of this may be unlikely.
