No, minoxidil can not be used during pregnancy. There are few substitute medications but the exact ones I recommend depend on the diagnosis. For androgenetic alopecia, I might occasionally recommend low level laser therapy. Any treatments should be discussed with the health providers caring for and overseeingthe pregnancy. Treatment for other hair loss conditions are handled on a case by case basis (scarring alopecia, telogen effluvium, lupus, etc)

I Do not recommend Minoxidil during pregnancy.  PRP for hair loss is safe & natural option  as it is harvested from your own blood.  No preservatives or drugs are involved.  Hair loss is associated with hormonal changes in your case.  Hormonal balancing down the road after pregnancy may also help.
