CoolSculpting and Raynaud syndrome?

Yes it is possible to do Coolsculpting if you have Raynaud's syndrome.  That being said, some people with this syndrome report that the treatment can be very uncomfortable or intense for about 5 minutes after the applicator comes off.   Clients with Raynaud's syndrome typically report a burning sensation while the tissue in the treatment area warms back up to normal body temperature.  Once this process is complete the sensation dissipates and the sensation in the area returns to normal.  Lumps can form in the treatment area post Coolsculpting but they are on the rare side and typically dissipate on their own within several weeks to months.

I have extensive experience in CoolSculpting and how I wish I could tell you not to sweat it but if you were diagnosed to have Raynaud's Disease, it is not recommended. Have a chat with your doctor who can assess you whether it is still possible for you to undergo it safely.

"What are other precautions I should know about?If you have any of the below conditions, you may not be an appropriate candidate for the CoolSculpting® procedure. Inform the CoolSculpting® physician if you have any of these conditions prior to treatment.• Known sensitivity to cold such as cold urticaria or Raynaud’s disease, pernio, or Chilblains. etc."
