Finasteride use before hair transplant? Want to maximize results and minimize the chances of sides effects.

Since I want to maximize results and minimize the chances of sides effects I decided to go with the lowest dosage which would deliver me results: 0.02mg/daily. Therefore my question, will the 70% DHT reduction (through the 1mg pill) every 50 days be sufficient to deliver results after 3-4 months, the same way a DAILY 20% DHT reduction does (through a 0.02mg pill)? In other words is 1mg/50days as effective as 0.02mg/1d, considering serum DHT levels return to normal after 14 days?

It appears from the photos that you are also experiencing some receding in the temples and at the anterior of your hair line. I would suggest transplant first to stabilize your hair line and fill in the temple area. After waiting a minimum of 8months if you wish to further reduce your forehead...
Hello and thank you for your question. If the hair grafts were placed too close or the angling wasn't quite right, yes it could cause damage to the frontalis muscle. If you are experiencing this I suggest contacting the surgeon who performed your transplant for advice. Best of luck to you.
