Can masseter Botox do permanent damage to the nerves or muscles? (Photos)

Hello Doctors please help, I have had masseter Botox in May 2018 and now it has been almost 6 months and my smile is still not back to the way it was, could it be that the muscles or nerves had been damaged during the injection process? What can I do now?
