Hi:Depending on the color of the tooth under the veneer this can be a normal problem that has to addressed both with the lab and the color of the cement being used under the veneer.  I suggest your dentist lets the lab know what color is the tooth under the veneer (stump shade) as a first step.Best,Dr. Maddahi 

It's not a matter of making the veneers thicker. A different porcelain needs to be used to block out the underlying color. If Emax is being used there are different opacities of ingot that block out darker shades. The problem becomes matching different ingots. You may need to remake all of the veneers so that they have matching opacities.
