TSH levels and hair loss?

In  my opinion, a TSH level of 4.5 is at the borderline of the normal level. A high TSH level can lead to hair loss. Each person responds differently to thyroid hormones. It depends on the receptors in the hair follicle. There is no exact TSH value where hair loss would start.PRP hair MD.com

There is no hard and fast rule for TSH. It varies greatly from person to person. Some can have a TSH of 8 with no hair loss whereas for others 4-6 can trigger changes. Typically though, values over 8-10 are very often associated with hair loss.
