Will the ND Yag Laser remove a 3mm Blue Vein?

Hi, I would like to know if the ND Yag Laser can remove a 3mm Blue Vein? I have the prominent vein on my temple and I am afraid of sclerotherapy. I dont mind if the Laser takes several treatments like 5 or 6 treatments, so long as the vein would stay gone. Thanks in advance for your help as it means a lot to me.

The latest studies the cosmetic dermatology literature show that the appearance of larger reticular blue veins in the temples can be minimized with repeated sessions of Nd: Yag laser. Only very experienced board-certified Aesthetic Dermatologists are experienced in this procedure, so please choose your physician carefully.

A 3mm blue vein may
be too thick for laser treatment. With that sort of volume of blood within a
vessel, it's difficult for these lasers to be effective. Other methods, such as
sclerotherapy and vein stripping, are more appropriate for veins of this size.

For viens that
are 2mm or less the pulsed dye laser is recommended, however the Nd:YAG laser has
been used for this as well.
