Is IPL hair removal safe over C-section scar?

Is IPL hair removal light safe if it hits my caesarean scar which was done a year ago. i also gave birth via c section 3 years ago on same cut.

With IPL treatments, microcrusting(coffee grounds) usually appears in 24-48 hours. A series of IPL photofacials (3-6) depending on how much damage was present initially may be recommended to achieve optimal results. If you have stubborn pigment, consider a series of treatments 3-4 weeks apart....

IPL and other non-ablative light or laser modalities will not be able to treat angiofibromas.  For successful treatment, I recommend electrodessication or treatment with an ablative laser such as CO2.Good luck!
