Thank you for your question. If there is only a nipple, and not a breast or breast mound associated with it, It can usually be removed under local anesthesia. While I can't speak for other Plastic Surgeons, In my practice that would cost less than $1,000 depending upon its size. This is an outpatient procedure. Insurance usually does not cover this because they consider it cosmetic. Best of luck.

You are probably referring to an accessory nipple, which is usually below your breast and located slightly towards the midline of the upper abdomen.  This can be removed under local anesthesia on an out-patient basis.  It will leave a small scar in the place of the nioopple -- but the scar should fade in time.This is a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by insurance.Best to find a board certified plastic surgeon in your area and seek a consultation.Good luck!Elliot W.
