I have a noticeable bump on the left side of my nose from when I had surgery. What it is or what should I do about it.

A little over a year ago I had a septoplasty and a closed reduction after breaking my nose badly in a car accident. I still have a large bump right below my bridge from the surgery, but it hasn't gone down in size in months. A few months after my surgery I asked my surgeon if the bump would go away and he said it would, but considering it is still the most tender part of my nose and is still there I don't know what to do.

This is a question best answered by the person giving you anesthesia.  It should not adversely affect your surgery, and you should be able to wear it after the procedure

You really only need to wait about 3 weeks to do whatever you want after septoplasty. You want to make sure your nose is healed and the mucosa has no defects.
