I am 4 days post Secret RF microneedling and am having an allergic reaction. Will I see benefits from the treatment? (Photo)

Yes, the itching bumps will subside. You will have more reaction that just with micro-needling because of the heat factor. I do see you are out in the sun. Being in the sun or getting too hot will cause more reaction, but is not an allergic reaction, but inflammation. The needles do not cause an allergic reaction since these are stainless steel, and the radiofrequency is heat, which also does not cause an allergic reaction. Product applied to the skin may do so, however. Please stay out of the sun and avoid heat. Please follow up with your aesthetician.

This is certainly an abnormal reaction. Either it was not Secret RF or it was set at an extremely high intensity and this is a burn along the needle marks. You need to apply moisturizing cream or silvadine and ice as soon as possible.

This is a common reaction with RF microneedling due to the heat delivered into the skin. We use the Alastin Skin Nectar post treatment and have not had any post procedure issues thus far.  I would discontinue the topical product and try using a OTC hydrocortisone cream 2 times a day to help releave the itching, and stay out of the sun as much as possible. The raised rash should resolve in 2-3 days. If it does not you should follow up with your practicioner.
