I have an issue where the left side of my face is more boney and round than the right side, when I open my mouth the jaw bone on the upper left side is way more visible and protruding than the right side combined with sometimes very loud jaw clicking when I open my mouth on the left side where that bone sticks out, when I yawn I feel like my jaw is going to lock open, what can be done to fix my jaw clicking and asymmetry? And if surgery is needed what is the recovery time and cost? Thank you.

I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Botox combined with radiofrequency treatments can be used to slim the masseter and jawline. It will take 1-2 weeks for final results with Botox. Best, Dr. Emer
