In general, these three procedures can be performed at the same time. If they are to be performed at different times then the best path depends on your expectations and what are your main concerns. I've had patients have a facelift and CO laser with fat grafting months later. However, I have also had patients go each way (1. laser then facelift and fat transfer, 2. facelift and fat transfer then laser). I hope this helps.
I can often do all 3 procedures in one setting. The beauty of combining procedures is that you have one exposure to anesthesia and a single recovery time. I regularly combine facelifting (rhytidectomy) with fat grafting. Regional CO2 laser resurfacing can also be added. I do not perform laser resurfacing over areas where the skin has been surgically elevated for the facelift. I do feel it is safe to resurface areas such as: the forehead skin, nose, around the eyes and mouth that are not part of the facelift surgery. Hope that helps with your decision. Best of luck!
Being trained in the US, I often combine all these procedures in the same sitting- providing your health is good, and skin condition fair. I do not combine these procedures if deep fully ablative CO2 laser is needed nor if you are a smoker, but for medium resurfacing or fractional CO2- sure, combine everything in the one procedure. This saves you time from healing up, but wound care is extra strict. Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.

It also helps with pain, meaning you already sedated or asleep for face surgery, so you don't need to get injected again for CO2. I do recommend evaluation by a board-certified cosmetic surgeon to see which treatments would be most beneficial for you. Good luck.
The very fist thing we do is to examine the skin for preexisting ectropion or scleral show. If you do have any signs of this, we control the depth and power of the laser to reduce the chances of this happening . Another method is to use gentle erbium fractional then CO2- many ways to reduce the...
Hi longshot03,I'm sorry to hear of the touch process you have experienced. Re-excision is an option that should be considered. It is unlikely to make the scar worse. The good news is that this is something that I would expect to be able to be nearly completely removed. The bad news is that it is...
