If you stop taking 10mg Accutane after taking it for one week it shouldn't make your acne worse. One week on that low of a dose is a very short period in comparison with the recommend treatment length, which is usually a period of 5-6 months.

I think it's pretty safe to get a tattoo eight months after you've stopped Accutane.Just make sure you go to a reputable tattoo studio where needles and ink are handled safely.The place I go uses units that are almost completely disposable -- everything except the actual electrical vibrator....

Not a good idea!!However, I doubt that you actually scarred your skin, more probably just inflamed and irritated it.You can get 1% Hydrocortisone over the counter and it should,within a day or two solve the problem.Meanwhile, don't wax again until you are done with the treatment.

I agree with the previous answer that sometimes patients need a longer course of Accutane.  And I also have seen patients who have not gotten real clearing until the last month.Discuss this with your practitioner and let them know your feelings.
