An examination of you would be helpful to determine if you could have CoolSculpting 11 years after a hernia repair. It would be important to know where the hernia was that was repaired and also to know where on your body you were considering to have a CoolSculpting treatment.
You may be able to do CoolSculpting procedure after Hernia repair but only after a careful examination by a board certified physician.
Absolutely!! There is a small possibility you will get some transient nerve pain related to the hernia repair, if it is in the area of treatment....but that can easily be treated with a short course of gabapentin, a Rx medication.
Thank you for your question! It depends on the type of hernia repair you had and whether it is in the area that will be treated. If your hernia was treated with mesh then you can NOT have Coolsculpting done over or near that area. Hope this helps!
We perform Coolsculpting in patients who have had a hernia repair, but we usually avoid the site of the actual repair--especially if the incisions are big (from open operations). With very small incisions from laparoscopic surgery we could sculpt over them as long as there is no recurrent hernia in those incisions and as long as the scar and surrounding tissue can be held in an applicator. We always avoid Coolsculpting directly over the umbilicus.
Hi, thanks for your question. It's difficult to say without seeing any photos. It also really depends on how much fat you're looking to have removed. We typically see a 20-25% reduction in fat per CoolSculpting treatment. For some this is enough and others might require multiple treatments. It's...
This area does better with liposuction but It appears you have loose skin as well that needs tightening. so I would suggest more than a non invasive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
I like trusculpt better or combined with coolsculpting. theragun doesnt help but can be done. z wave or RF help most. If you have small problem areas you can use non invasive methods like coolsculpting with vanquish or TrusculptID to get small areas of fat reduced. Skin also tightens if you ...
Hi, thanks for your question. As long as your hypothyroid is under control, meaning you are taking medication in order to maintain normal hormonal levels, then there should be no reason for you not to have CoolSculpting or liposuction. I highly recommend that you discuss any concerns you might...
Thank you for your question and pictures. We have seen great results using a combination of both Coolsculpting and EMSculpt Neo. If your goal is fat reduction along with muscle strengthening and building your abdominal core strength back then EMSculpt NEO would be a better option for you. How...
Hi, thanks for your question. As long as you haven't had any adverse reactions to the vaccine, there should be no reason why you can't have CoolSculpting after getting your Covid vaccine. There are typically no contraindications when it comes to CoolSculpting and vaccinations. If you happen to...
