This is anecdotally what I've heard but I just went in for legs, underarms, and Brazilian with a Cynosure Apogee Elite laser, and didn't feel much pain at all. Most areas I just felt the cool air blowing, and then I felt little pin pricks only on my shins, backs of knees, and bikini line. This surprised me as I thought it should hurt on every pulse. I also don't think I smelled any hair burning and don't see any redness. Should I ask the nurse to turn the settings up next time I go?

Hello and thank you for your question. Yes, waiting six months in between laser hair removal sessions could affect a positive result. The dormant hair follicles could start to regrow. For optimal results, I would wait and start your sessions when you can be on a better schedule. Best of luck...
Strawberry legs can be challenging to treat, especially if it's due to hair being trapped under the skin. It's positive that you've undergone LHR, but the effectiveness can vary. Depending on the thickness and color of your hair, more sessions or a different type of laser might be necessary....
