Can you contract an STD from an improperly disinfected laser hair removal device?

When visiting a medical spa or doctors office one of the first things you should look for is cleanliness.If you go to a reputable place I cant imagine you would need to worry about contacting anything.  All pieces of medical equipment should be sterilized. Hello, transferral of STD's through laser hair removal treatments is unlikely, however you do want to make sure you are going somewhere that is clean.  Go in for a consultation, look around and ask about their sanitation practices to ensure you feel comfortable.  Good luck!
